What has been going on??
So I just realized that I have not included another post for awhile. This could be due to many reasons. One, I was in a really bad car accident in October, and I have been juggling my job, school, practicum, hospice, doctors appointments, and friends. Now, this has been an extremely difficult time for me, but I just need to make it through this semester, and then I will have a month break. After that, I have one more semester, and I graduate with my masters. Can you believe that??? There is really not much time left at all, so I better start enjoying the time that I do have left.
Two, I honestly did not even think about writing, which is horrible because I actually enjoy writing. Three, which kind of relates to one, and that is I have been so involved in finishing my practicum hours that everything else comes second. I want and need to get them done (150 hours). That is a lot, and especially when most people won't let you come observe or interview them because they say it violates confidentiality. Okay, so what you are telling me is that NO ONE let you come visit when you were trying to finish your hours...I don't think so, because if that were the case then you wouldn't have your degree either. It is a very frustrating process for sure, but it needs to get done.
So back to this car accident...I was with my mother when it happened, and now, my whole body hurts most days...The swelling is going down finally, and it has been three weeks and there still is swelling..I am on medications to alleviate the pain and relax the muscles.
Good Points...Halloween was a blast...I went out with my amigos, and we had the best time ever. And there was no drama, which made the night that much better. After the wonderful weekend, I came back to Platteville and attended class. I got the test back that I had assumed I did pretty bad on and ended up with a 49/50...That rocked... So it finally seems like things are looking up for me...AND I have actually been really happy.
