My Gripe....

Even though I want it to snow and for campus to close tomorrow, so that I will not be required to put in 10 hours straight at work. I also want to make it to Dubuque tomorrow morning for my orthopedic appointment because if I miss it, then I won't get in until April.  There is something seriously wrong with my knee and the doctors have waited a long time to even get me in to see a surgeon to get a MRI. If I don't make it, more can go wrong with my knee.  There is going to be a lot of snow, so will the orthopedic surgeon even make it in. If I make it there, then he better make it.
I should have listened when I was told to make the doctors do a MRI. I told them I wanted one done, but instead they sent me to the physical therapist.  My knee was getting better until I was put on the bike, and then it got a lot worse very quickly. I think my body was getting used to how it was and healing wrong on its own.  The body heals itself even if the healing is not supposed to be occurring in that manner.  We will see how it all turns out, but I am really torn.  I don't want to work tomorrow, and yet, if campus closes and I don't work, then I probably won't be able to make it to Dubuque either. I am actually considering going up tonight and getting a hotel, so that I will be there in the morning.  If I do that, I may be stranded longer than what I am expecting.  Or I could go to the appointment, chill out at the mall afterwards and wait out the storm. That could just work.
